The food at Blueoceans restaurant was absolutely delicious and fresh. I had hanid and rice with a complimentary lentil soup which was amazing. The restaurant decoration and furniture is very clean and modern. I would recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends.

My wife and daughter dropped in. My wife and I shared a lamb/rice dish that’s traditional Somali and my daughter had a pasta dish. We also had two waters and a coke. Three soups arrived free of charge while we waited (which was not long) and then the bill arrived and we were charged £22 (£22!!!). We tried to pay 30 but he wouldn’t accept more than 25. BTW the food was great. We were visiting from Ireland but we wish everyone involved here the very best of luck

Best Somalian restaurant on seven sisters Road 100%. I’ve tried all the Somali restaurants on Seven Sisters Road , and this one strangely didn’t come up on google maps, I only came across it when I walked past it looking for Somali food (the other competitors didn’t have no lamb shoulder or soup left). As a true Somali food lover, this place is a hidden gem that no one knows about. The flavours are exquisite and mouth watering. The lamb shoulder is probably the best I’ve had cooked to perfection with endless amount of umami and satiating texture. The soup was so delicious and of course we ordered more. And the biswas has the perfect blend of spicy and flavour. This by far is the best (unknown) Somali place in north London and probably in my top 3 in London (and I’ve tried them all). Will 100% recommend all my friends and family to try it and the price is amazing as well!!!

It was amazing having lunch here. Staff were friendly and even offered a “jug” rice if you speak Somali- literally meaning extra rice I politely declined as the portion was already enough. I’d only recommend they introduce a menu for the non-Somali speakers. The overall space is small but well designed and the atmosphere is stunning. I’d would definitely recommend Blue Ocean to everyone, and will visit that well cooked Haneed again
